Our team merges the visions and inputs of architects, engineers and designers, thereby producing a balanced approach to meet our client’s primary design ideas, needs and budget.

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager with high-end home residential experience and an eye for high-end finishes who is detailed-oriented to join our professional staff. Candidates must have extensive experience with wood framed construction including previous experience with framing, carpentry, etc.. This position’s schedule will be generally, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM with occasional weekend duties, as needed.

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all contractual requirements, schedules and construction processes of high-end residential construction projects through the daily management, coordination, supervision and successful completion of all projects and in adherence of each project’s scope.

The essential duties and responsibilities includes:

  • Effectively manages and supervises all subcontractor and their work schedules, while fostering a positive working relationship with each subcontractor.
  • ·Prepares and implements each project’s budget, while tracking costs and performing cost analyses.
  • ·Responsible for all construction billings and cash flow projections.
  • Responsible for Contract Administration including the preparation and execution of subcontractor agreements.
  • Obtains all permits and licenses, as required, in a timely manner.
  • Responsible to enforce safety procedures and protocols at each site.
  • Works with each project’s design team to ensure timelines are met within established budgets.
  • Identifies errors and omissions from subcontractor’s work and corrects them in a timely manner.
  • Reviews change orders and obtains the Senior Project Manager’s approval for all additional work.
  • Enforces that all safety procedures are followed by all personnel at each work site.
  • Coordinates with the design team to ensure that each project is completed on time and on budget.
  • Procures and maintains “as-built” documents to track changes to contract documents during construction of each project.
  • Ensures projects and personnel continually run on schedule.
  • Manages each “punch-list as well as, warranty review and procurement for accuracy and completion.
  • Stays up-to-date and complies with all construction-related federal, state, and local legal requirements as applicable.

Interested candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years’ proven experience as a Site Superintendent at construction sites including OSHA 10 and other applicable certifications.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Working knowledge of maintaining budgets, document control and project scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCad, required.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of residential wood-framed construction (e.g., technology, equipment, methods).
  • Experience with Mavenlink, preferred.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all aspects of construction (e.g., technology, equipment, methods, common building materials, tools and techniques)
  • Access to independently travel to jobsites around Brookline, Newton and the Greater Boston area is required.

  • Required to accurately interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents.
  • Effectively works independently on a broad variety of projects and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Establishes and maintains positive work relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors and is adept at interacting with diverse groups of people.
  • Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects/tasks to meet expected deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

  • using ProCore: 1 year (Preferred)
